Key improvements of new design

Bike pedals much better - this is the result of a lower instant center that tracks the chain line more closely. Old Nomad had a high IC and was very anti-squatty particularly when climbing.

Rear end of bike is much more responsive and tracks much better as a result of shorter chain stays (4mm shorter) and a flatter shock rate curve. People complain about the old bike feeling wallow-y. This has been completely fixed. New bike feels much more lively descending and through tight turns.

Upper linkNew pivot systems with grease ports improves serviceability and reliability.

Overall weight reduced by about 1/3 lb. - current frame weight for large powder coated is 6.9lbs.

Better rear triangle tire clearance particularly in the chain stay yoke area.

ISCG tabs.

Front end of the bike is stiffer as a result of extensive stress analysis on both the new and the old bikes and adding material in the right areas. This is another way of saying that monocoque tubing cannot be butted - the new
bike does not use a monocoque which allows the tubes to be thicker near the head tube and thinner in less critical areas.

Fatigue failure problem in upper link pivot has been resolved.

Rear wheel travel is 160mm

Tubing is 6000 series triple butted aluminum for front triangle and double butted for swing arm.
